== The Position == A rapidly-growing private cardiology practice seeks a pacing cardiologist to join their team.  They are seeking an FRACP or equivalent cardiologist with proven procedural skills in simple and complex pacing device implantation and follow-up. A fellowship in electrophysiology would be desirable as an off-site catheter laboratory is due to be completed later this year.  The Organisation This high-quality service currently employs 3 full-time and 9 visiting cardiologists. The three full-time cardiologists are skilled in echo, pacing and heart failure. The Clinic is also privileged to be supported by eight visiting cardiologists who provide expertise in angiography and intervention, cardiac electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, cardiac MRI, advanced heart failure, and cardiothoracic surgery. == The Practice == provides high quality clinical services utilising innovative, highly integrated, state of the art equipment, such as a new coronary angiography lab, 320 slice CT scanner and MRI.  == The Practice == also has an extensive, nationally recognized, regional outreach service. Launceston has excellent private schooling with minimal commuting time and offers an outstanding lifestyle for families.   == Essential Criteria == To be successful in applying for this position you must hold Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (or be close to obtaining Fellowship) and registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Applicants must also be eligible for a Medicare provider number. Completion of a fellowship in echocardiography or multi-imaging specialty is essential.
