As a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology you will be responsible for the day to day management of inpatients and outpatients across two Hospitals. You will gain exposure to basic vaginal, open and laparoscopic gynaecology, with general gynaecology clinics including colposcopy clinics. You will be joining a dedicated team in delivering high quality innovative care and benefit from the clinical support and guidance of Consultants. You will also have access to regular advanced training sessions.

You will be working across two facilities. The first is a modern hospital with over 150 beds, offering medical, surgical and allied health specialties through inpatients and outpatient department. It also caters for the emergency resuscitation, surgery and intensive care of most trauma patients and other medical presentations. Some injuries and illnesses will be referred to comprehensive tertiary hospitals. The second a 100-bed facility, offering general and specialist health services. The hospital has undergone a major refurbishment, so you will enjoy new equipment and a well-staffed and resourced facility. You will be joining a hospital highly regarded for its delivery of timely, safe and high quality services, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

You will hold current registration with the Australian Medical Board (AHPRA) or be eligible for registration with experience from a country with a comparable health care system (NZ, UK, Ireland, Canada or USA).
