== The Position == As an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Principle House Officer, this fixed term opportunity will offer you job security until February 2018. You will enjoy being part of the welcoming team where you will be supported by Staff Specialists and other senior medical officers whilst in turn you will offer support for junior staff and students where necessary. Due to the size of the department you will receive a hands on experience that will allow you to develop your skills and knowledge. The Hospital  With 230 beds, this hospital is the main referral centre for the region and services an immediate and surrounding population of roughly 250,000 people. With a newly built seven-storey ward block, this space offers an expanded critical care service, extended emergency care unit and a helipad for trauma patients. As the regional referral centre for emergency services, the facility sees an approximate 45,000 ED presentations per year and a total of 22,000 admissions.
