== The Position == An opportunity has recently become available for an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join a team of 7 specialists. In this role, you will provide services to two facilities as well as involvement in a 1:6 acute on-call roster with the support of other departments involved in acute care ? anaesthetics, surgery, radiology and ICU. The Hospital This District health board provides care to an area population of 108,000 people through the facilities located in the North Island. The two hospitals underwent a rebuild in 2013 which updated the ward areas and theatre and provided state of the art ambulatory outpatient area for gynaecology to facilitate outpatient hysteroscopy and colposcopy.
