== The Position == In this permanent full-time role as a Medical Officer, you will provide a range of occupational medical services in office and work-site environments. This may involve occupational health surveillance on workers exposed to hazardous environments, performing medical assessments, and advising management on emerging health issues.  You will help employers manage their workplace health risks through these assessments, advice and associated reports, and provide support and guidance to other Medical Officers and health professionals.    Working business hours from Monday ? Friday, this opportunity can offer a side step from the usual under the pump type workload, allowing for a better work-life balance. The Client You will join a service dedicated to protecting the NSW coal mining industry through providing preventative and responsive services. You will add to a team of health, safety and response specialists including occupational nurses, doctors and emergency responders available on-site to assist with a variety of needs. == The Location == You will be based in a town northwest of Sydney, surrounded by beautiful countryside and wineries. You may be required to travel to other offices from time to time. Primarily you will be located in a growing regional area where you will find yourself enjoying the perfect work-life balance. Although your background does not have to be from the mining industry, an understanding and interest in how it works, and the duties involved will add value.
