As a Medical Director, you will be providing guidance, support and leadership to the clinical staff and participate in the supervision of registrars and other GPs. Through your Medical Director duties, you will be provided with the opportunity to lead the team through regular clinical meetings. You can enjoy playing a pivotal role and represent your colleagues when it comes to the future of the practice and upper management decisions.
Due to patient demand, this practice has expanded into a brand new medical centre with 15 consult rooms, three procedure rooms and a four-bed treatment area with projected expansions of an additional ten consult and procedure rooms for Specialists and Special Interest GPs. Modern and purpose-built and located within a large market precinct, this practice has been described as the “Health and Lifestyle Destination”. Staff room located onsite, with undercover car parking available.
Practice opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 4pm, with plans to further extend these in the future to meet patient demand. Located in close proximity to several Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities, your patient profile will include a large aging population as well as a diverse mix of patients from neighbouring suburbs. Extensive support staff and allied health services available including four nurses, an ATSI Health Practitioner, a Business Manager, a Reception Supervisor and four Receptionists.
