== The Position == Wavelength has an exciting opportunity for a Haematologist to join a dedicated service in central NSW. Working closely with the Head of Department of Medicine and Cancer Services and other departments you will be joining a passionate team dedicated to providing high level clinical care. You will provide care to hospital inpatients, outpatients and patients attending the facility for emergency care, as well as inpatients who have been specifically referred to the specialist in the Hospital, with some clinic responsibilities at the neighbouring Hospital. This is a 0.8FTE position and there may be an opportunity for the Haematologist to apply for a 0.2FTE pathology position. The participation in the General Physician on call roster (approximately 1 in 6) is also required. We would also encourage the successful applicant to apply for an Academic appointment at the nearby University Clinical School.   The Hospital  Serving a catchment population in excess of 40,000 people, this facility has recently been redeveloped and is highly regarded for its commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of the community through provision of the highest level of healthcare services. The hospital offers a wide range of specialties including Coronary Care, Obstetric, Paediatric, Psychiatric, Rehabilitation and Intensive Care services. This 149 bed facility also offers a number of outpatient clinics and services in order to better facilitate and support community needs.
