== The Position == An opportunity is available for a General Radiologist to work across modalities including CT, Ultrasound, general imaging and there is also the option for MRI sessions and involvement in breast screening. You will join a team of 10 consultants and 3 registrars that have an interesting and varied workload, carrying out around 96,000 examinations per year. You will be working with up to date equipment including CT, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, DSA, and seven general digital radiography rooms and Nuclear Medicine with two gamma cameras. There is the opportunity to work across both private and public services with the private provider on the hospital grounds.   Hospital Located in a provincial city, the hospital has 350 beds and cares for a total regional population of around 166,000. It is a teaching hospital that has close ties to major New Zealand Universities. The District Health Board is currently undergoing a transformational change programme to firmly establish itself as a high performing health system, making this a very exciting time to join.
