== The Position ==   Expressions of interest are being sought from General Radiologists looking to be part of a rapidly growing provider of medical imaging services.   This role would suit someone looking to play an active role in growing a business. In return, they are able to offer a Doctor driven environment and an equity pathway for Doctors joining the company. This is to ensure that you can have an input into key decision making areas. There is also the presence of an established team of experienced clinical staff (including other radiologists) and clerical personnel keen to support new team members. There is a real focus on growing the teleradiology side of the business, enabling Doctors to maximise their earnings when not with a patient.   Practice hours are: - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm - No weekend work - No on-call   The company The group has been in operation for over thirty years and has had a heavy involvement from the Doctor Partners from day one. This has ensured continuous innovation and growth.  == The Practice ==s are modern and are regularly upgraded. They are able to provide high end diagnostic and interventional imaging services with plain film radiology, CT MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound and conventional Nuclear Medicine, in a collegiate atmosphere. The company provides Imaging services in a private setting as well as providing services to the local public hospitals.   == The Location == This position can be split across three sites all within a 45 minute drive of each other. These locations are within an hour?s drive of the Gold Coast and two hours? drive of Brisbane, Australia?s third largest city. There are three airports that service the region with regular flights locally and internationally. The area enjoys a sub-tropical climate and a pristine rural environment. It is world renowned for the quality of its surf beaches. It?s not all about nature though; the area is home to a host of artistic, cultural, gastronomic and sporting interests.  Outstanding public and private schools are present throughout the area as is a university.   == Essential Criteria == This position is in an ?Area of Need?.  This opens up potential pathways for overseas radiologists who might otherwise struggle to meet Australian eligibility requirements.
