The Position
This role will see you assessing, planning and undertaking the management of inpatients and outpatients as required, while utilise recognised principles of clinical practice in psychiatry to achieve excellent standards of patient care. 
 
The Hospital
The hospital is a 60-bed facility servicing a population of 24,000 across the region and has a large Aboriginal population base. The hospital provides specialist and non-specialist medical, diagnostic and treatment services. Annually the hospital sees 13,500 Emergency Department presentations, performs 4,900 outpatient services, delivers 300 babies and has 7,000 patient admissions in total.
There is a high emphasis on education and training within the hospital environment with an affiliation with Flinders University and regular student rotations.
