Hastings is situated 70km south east of Melbourne on an inlet on Western Port, an important environmental area of the Mornington Peninsula. The town, with a population of around 9,000 residents, has access to many recreational boating activities from its numerous marinas.
The Mornington Peninsula is a popular destination for pensioners, retirees and in the past 10 years, young families have been moving into the area as popular suburbs such as Oliver’s Hills, Mt Eliza, Red Hills and Mt Martha. A high proportion of the demographic of the area is Australians of a mid-socio-economic status. With some of Victoria’s best schools in the area and easy access to Melbourne, this is an area that will only grow in popularity.
DWS exemption available.
