Due to increasing patient demand, this friendly practice are looking for a self-motivated, diligent GP with great communication skills to join their team.
Purpose-built within a busy shopping centre over 18 months ago, this mixed-billing practice is currently home to anexperienced GP with a wide range of specialties. Along with easy access to a number of amenities, patients at this practice also love having Allied Health services available at their fingertips, including psychology and pathology.
You will be comprehensively supported by a full-time nurse, friendly practice manager and three receptionists who thrive on making your day run as smoothly as possible.
This practice is located in a high demand area providing the opportunity to earn an excellent income for motivated doctors.
This is a fast developing semi-rural town that is only a 40 minute drive to Adelaide CBD and 35 minutes to the Barossa Valley. Located on the Adelaide Plains it has the feel of a large country town whilst being close to the beaches and all major attractions and shops in Adelaide. The current population is around 5,000 with a large diversity of age groups and cultures. We have many patients from surrounding suburbs. There are two private schools and a public school within the area. The weather ranges from 12 degrees Celsius in winter to 40 degrees Celsius in summer. House prices start from around $350,000 AUD with block sizes averaging over ½ an acre. The area is rapidly growing with many housing developments (with smaller block sizes) in progress.

In order to be eligible for this exciting role, International Medical Graduates are required to hold post graduate qualifications in General Practice (i.e. FRACGP, FRNZCGP, MRCGP, MICGP or CCFP). General Practitioners who have one of the above recognised post graduate qualifications are eligible for reciprocal recognition with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Wavelength International will assist you with the required regulatory and immigration process.
Experience with implanon insertions/removals, suturing, minor procedures and emergency medicine is highly desirable.
A potential candidate must be reliable, have great time management and work well within this friendly team.
