== The Practice ==
This is a long-established and typical country town general practice.The Practice is private-billing, fully computerised, AGPAL accredited and situated in a beautiful old Victorian building which has been extensively refurbished and fully-equipped for rural general practice.
Fully supported by 11 administration staff, two nurses tending to the treatment room daily, a chronic disease nurse and diabetes educator. With 15 consultation rooms and 12 GPs specialising in Anaesthetics and Obstetrics, this busy practice will see you fully booked quickly.
Opening 8:30am-6pm weekdays and Saturday 10am-11am, covered rotationally by practice GPs. Some on-call and after hours is required and is shared among the GPs of the practice on fortnightly and monthly rosters and offers fantastic remuneration.

Benalla is an attractive and prosperous rural city just off the main Melbourne-Sydney Hume Freeway. Known as the "Rose City"; it is noted for its gracious public gardens. It is surrounded by rich farm lands and operates as an important service centre. It is an exceptionally beautiful city which has a wide variety of attractions. It is one of the most impressive rural centres in Victoria.
== Essential Criteria ==
DWS exemption available.
In order to be eligible for this exciting role, International Medical Graduates are required to hold postgraduate qualifications in General Practice (i.e. FRACGP, FRNZCGP, MRCGP, MICGP or CCFP). General Practitioners who have one of the above-recognised postgraduate qualifications are eligible for reciprocal recognition with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Wavelength International will assist you with the required regulatory and immigration process.
