The Practice
By joining this well-established medical centre you will have the opportunity to work alongside a comprehensive and impressive team which consists of three GPs, three nurses, four reception staff and a practice manager. Enjoy a great collegial working environment with constant support at your fingertips.
 
Clinic opening hours are 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday leaving your weekends free to enjoy everything this exciting city has to offer. There is a non-onerous on-call requirement which requires you to take part in the local on-call roster which currently involves two after-hours shifts per month at the local hospital. For this you will be remunerated on top of your salary.
 
With this level of support from a vibrant team, your only job is to care for your patients - the rest is taken care of.

Essential Criteria
In order to be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a GP, you must have worked at least 36 months of the past 48 months in a comparable health system or you will need to hold suitable postgraduate qualifications and have worked at least 24 months of the past 36 months in a comparable health system.
 
Experience in General Practice particularly chronic care and women’s health would be desirable.
