This fully-computerised, mixed-billing, AGPALaccredited practice is looking for a second GP to join their team and call this Whitsundays Island home in order to provide continuity of care and better service.
Assisted by a full-time accredited practice manager, you will be working with a qualified and helpful team including a full-time, experienced FRACGP, registered nurses, reception staff, the Island safety team as well as the QAS and RACQ.
There aren’t many jobs where - on your days off - you can sail the Whitsundays, dive the Great Barrier Reef or try your hand at any of the sensational activities the island has to offer.
Hamilton Island is located off the coast of Cairns on the East Coast of Australia and is one of the largest islands situated within the heart of the Whitsundays.

In order to be eligible for this exciting role, International Medical Graduates are required to hold post graduate qualifications in General Practice (i.e. FRACGP, FRNZCGP, MRCGP, MICGP or CCFP). General Practitioners who have one of the above recognised post graduate qualifications are eligible for reciprocal recognition with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Wavelength International will assist you with the required regulatory and immigration process.
Emergency experience skills or ALS is an essential requirement for this role as is the ability to communicate with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
