The Position
As a Resident Medical Officer in General Medicine, you will work under supervision to provide high quality medical services to patients while developing your expertise across inpatient and outpatient areas. You will take a leadership role in coordinating the admission, management and discharge planning of patients seen in or admitted to the Unit and ensure admissions and plans are documented in the medical record. You will be responsible for the day-to-day assessment and management of patients, communicate with them and their family the nature of their conditions and its treatment, as well as communicating and coordinating care across the team. You will be required to participate in the evening, night and relief roster and will earn a salary of $79,000-$107,713 depending on experience.

Essential Criteria
You must hold current AHPRA registration or be eligible for registration with experience from a country with a comparable health care system such as the UK, Ireland, Canada or the USA. You must have at least two years of postgraduate experience as a Medical Officer.
