Working as an Unaccredited Medical Registrar, you will be responsible for the provision of medical care to general medical patients under the direction of the Specialist Physician but will be required to work independently at times. Physicians cover the weekends so there will be no night shift or weekend work required in this position. Part-time opportunities will also be considered.
You will be joining a private hospital and friendly team. The Medical ward itself has a capacity of 27 beds but patients may overflow to the Orthopaedics team (30-bed unit) or Surgical ward (26 beds). There is also a Cardiac Unit that may sometimes hold medical patients. Overall the hospital has a capacity of more than 140 beds and is looking to open a fifth unit. There is no Mental Health in the hospital and the patient mix is mainly an older population.

To be eligible you must be PGY3+ in your level of experience and hold current General registration with the Australian Medical Board (AHPRA).
