The Role As a Registrar in General Medicine, you will coordinate handovers and identify and prioritise the care of unstable or deteriorating patients. You will assist in the triage and admission of external referrals and assist medical interns and HMOs in the care of complex patients, liaising closely with the supervising Consultant. You will oversee patient discharges in collaboration with other doctors, nurses and clinicians, including prompt and accurate discharge summaries, identifying barriers in completing them and working with relevant stakeholders to ensure improved clinical handovers. Whether you are more junior or senior in your level of experience your application can be considered and if you are registered with the RACP, an Advanced Training position can also be offered.
