The Position
As General Medicine Principle house officer with at least 4 years of post-graduate experience, you will join a health service where you will have the opportunity to develop and grow professionally. Gaining hands on experience, you will find yourself supported by the Director of the department as well as staff specialists and other senior staff whilst you in turn offer support to junior staff and students. Day to day you will help to initiate, maintain and manage patient care and there may be the opportunity for career progression at a later stage.

The Hospital
This regional hospital will be celebrating 25 years of care for the local community this year. It provides services across general medicine, general surgery, emergency medical, paediatrics and mental health to name but a few. With investments and development continuing, there has been the recent addition of a 32-bed adult ward and secure Gentlemen and Ladies Ageing with Dignity unit for frail and elderly patients.

The Location
With a sub-tropical climate offering year-round sunshine, this region is just 60 minutes from Brisbane. It offers access to white sandy beaches and charming country villages. With a nearby island accessible by bridge, you can spend time off spotting dolphins, dugons and various bird species or surfing, fishing and walking in the national parks.

Essential Criteria
You must have AHPRA registration and at least 4 years post graduate experience. You will enjoy gaining the exposure that this health service allows.
