As a PHO in General Medicine, you will find yourself supported by an encouraging team and you will have the opportunity to progress and develop your clinical knowledge and skills. Being a regional department, you will experience a variety of cases and will provide effective, efficient and equitable medical services to the hospital patients under the supervision and direction of senior medical staff. Some key responsibilities include conducting interviews and examinations, identifying clinical problems including the day-to-day review of patients and arranging investigations, treatment and discharge as directed by the assigned Consultant. You will provide assistance with medical procedures and outpatients clinics as directed by the assigned Consultant as well.

To be eligible for this role you must hold AHPRA General registration or be eligible for registration having worked in a comparable country. You must be PGY3+ in your level of experience.
