As Medical Officer you will join a growing multidisciplinary team for 24/7 roster cover, working 12-hour shifts rotating between day and night. You will attend ward rounds, assess and manage patients and identify issues for escalation. You will perform simple clinical procedures as deemed appropriate, prescribe medications and fluids in accordance with management plans, attend medical emergencies and complete urgent reviews on surgical and medical patients. You will find yourself well supported by Consultants and the Director of Medical Services. If you have an interest in the Intensive Care Unit the hospital can also offer shifts in this area, as well as opportunities to become involved in development of the Emergency Department.
Looking for a commitment of at least 12 months you will earn a generous salary.
