== The Position == As a General Medicine Career Medical Officer, you will utilise your skills in acute medicine, palliative care and general medicine as well. In a hospital that works under a public-private partnership, you will work within and contribute to the values of the organisation whilst promoting and displaying consistent high standards of clinical care. You will be supported by a staff specialist and VMO?s whilst you also provide guidance and support to interns across the wards. With a 12 month contract your hours will primarily consists of 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday hours with the option to carry out additional weekend or nightshifts at a penalty rate. With a largely rural feel, the city has a community focus and attracts young families. == Essential Criteria == With AHPRA General Registration you will be confident in your ability to work independently having gained at least 4 years prior experience in General Medicine.
