== The Position == The successful applicant will provide assessments, treatments and clinical care to individuals referred to the team in collaboration with other team members. This will include the application of a wide range of skills and interventions. You will be expected to exercise a high level of individual responsibility but are accountable to the Clinical Director ? Mental Health Services and the relevant Team Leader within the specified unit for all aspects of performance.   The Hospital     This major referral hospital provides general and specialist health services to a population of about 250,000 people. The Emergency Department itself receives on average 45,000 cases a year with all types of patient presentations including major trauma and 20% paediatric cases. As it is an accredited teaching hospital there is a strong focus on teaching and research and an opportunity to be involved with both.    The Mental Health Service has a 20 bed Inpatient Unit of which 3 High Dependency beds and extensive community based services catering for the population.
