An opportunity exists to join a premier not-for-profit health and aged care services provider in Central Queensland. You will provide medical administration direction, and strategic advice, leading clinicians across four hospitals along the Queensland coast.
Your proactive approach and engaging manner combined with clinical governance expertise will be critical to your success in this uniquely rewarding opportunity. You will be an instrumental part of the organisation’s growth while you develop clinical service delivery, ensuring continued optimal patient-centred care.
The EDMS will play a key role in establishing clinical governance frameworks and strengthening relationships across internal and external networks, including close collaboration with local public sector health leaders to ensure clinical best practice.

With four hospitals, three aged care facilities and associated community services the group are committed to providing health and aged care, for all stages of life.
The organisation has an excellent reputation for providing quality health services and all hospitals are accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards pertaining to the high-level patient care being recognised at a national level. The group employs approximately 1,400 people across all sites. Ideally you will be based at the Corporate Office; however there is the possibility to be located at one of the hospital sites if preferred.

To be successful in applying for this position ideally you must hold FRACMA; however, another medical specialist qualification with an Australasian college combined with extensive experience in medical administration would also be considered. In either case you must hold or be eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
