== The Position == As a senior member of the hospital executive and as part of the THS clinical governance structure, the Executive Director of Medical Services (EDMS) will provide clinical leadership focussed on continuous improvement in local and state-wide whole-of-system clinical service provision. == The Position == has State-wide responsibilities in the areas of credentialing, safety and quality, emergency management and system reform, in addition to local clinical governance and medical leadership responsibilities. == The Position == also oversees the medical workforce and service delivery across the region.  This is a hands-on, operational role in which you can utilise your skills to shape the future development of this health service. The Health Service You will be working at an innovative and dynamic health service that has a range of facilities including two acute hospitals, three district hospitals and seven community health centres. The two hospitals both have very busy emergency, general medical and general surgical departments. Anaesthetic, obstetrics and gynaecology and paediatrics are primarily located at one site with outpatient services at both sites. Orthopaedic and rehabilitation services and six bed ICU are located at one site. Onsite support services in pathology, imaging and pharmacy are extensive.   The health service participates in a comprehensive undergraduate and graduate clinical training program with the onsite Rural Clinical School.
