The ED has 2 resus bays, 14 acute beds (2 paediatric), 5 consult rooms, 1 mental health room and 1 isolation room. There are also plans to establish an ED short stay unit and while the ED is not currently accredited for training with ACEM, efforts are in place to ensure accreditation in the years to come.
