As an Emergency Medicine registrar with a wealth of experience, you will have confidence in your ability to deliver a high quality of care to patients whilst offering support to junior members of the team. You will work alongside other registrars and resident medicals offers under the instruction of Consultant staff and you will have the support of nursing staff and allied health as well.
Treating both life threatening and non-life threatening cases you will have the ability to think on your feet, make decisions and react to critical situations.
With 164 beds, this acute care teaching hospital has links to the local University and offers both inpatient and outpatient services across medicine, surgery, emergency medicine and intensive care. With the Emergency Department receiving more than 38,000 presentations annually, this can include paediatric and adult cases. It is a department that is accredited for up to 12 months ACEM training and due to the changing needs of the ageing population services throughout the hospital are being tailored.

With 4 or 5 years of prior experience in Emergency Medicine, you must have AHPRA registration or be eligible for registration via the Competent Authority Pathway.
