As an Emergency Medicine Principle House Officer, you will be motivated by the opportunity to gain hands on experience to progress and develop your knowledge. With a minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience, you will be confident in your ability to support junior staff and students whilst receiving dedicated support and guidance from senior staff and specialists yourself. You will help to initiate, maintain and manage patient care on a day to day basis and along with an attractive salary will you receive relocation and accommodation assistance.
With 230 beds, this hospital is the main referral centre for the region and services an immediate and surrounding population of roughly 250,000 people. With a newly built seven-storey ward block, this space offers an expanded critical care service, extended emergency care unit and a helipad for trauma patients. As the regional referral centre for emergency services, the facility sees an approximate 45,000 ED presentations per year and a total of 22,000 admissions. There is a great variety of clinical presentations.
