As an Emergency Medicine Hospital Medical Officer, you will join an enthusiastic team and find yourself well supported by senior staff. You will provide a high level of care for all patients presenting to the department and will have a fantastic opportunity to progress in your career, with potential rotations available through other departments as well, such as ICU, O&G and surgery.
With an immediate start date available, a full time commitment is expected.
This state of the art facility is one of the largest regional hospitals in the area, boasting close to 300 beds and four operating theatres. As a teaching hospital it is closely affiliated with a number of major Universities and can offer a broad range of services including elective surgery, rehabilitation services, obstetrics, mental health and aged care services.
The hospital is the specialist referral and trauma centre for the region and has over 33,000 presentations to the Emergency Department each year. With 24 points of care there is also a 12-bed short stay unit within the department.
