As a Consultant in the Emergency Department, you will bring your expertise to a cohesive team and positive culture. You will work around 16 hours per week, with support from another FACEM, Advanced Trainee or CMO on shift, as well as 4-5 Nurses. You will be rostered from 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm or 3pm-11pm. You will enjoy a 50% loading on weekends and 100% loading on public holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are seeking a flexible role or more balanced lifestyle, only required on shift until 11pm at the latest. You will be part of a dedicated team of caregivers and medical specialists, caring for the surrounding community.
This large private hospital has recently expanded its capacity to more than 250 beds, with more than 400 accredited medical practitioners offering a range of services. These include medical and surgical, maternity, rehabilitation, cancer care, intensive and cardiac care and the private Emergency Department that operates between 8am and 10pm. You will not experience trauma cases; about 35% of presentations are admitted. Having won awards in business excellence and improvements to the delivery of health care, your expertise will certainly be utilised and expanded within this high-quality health service.

To be successful, you must have fellowship with ACEM and current Specialist registration with AHPRA.
