As an AHPRA registered Specialist with prior experience in Emergency Medicine and General Practice, you will join a highly professional team who provide the finest care to the furthest corners of Queensland. This exciting and unusual opportunity will see you providing critical care and primary health care services within emergency department and rural health service environments. With the occasional aeromedical retrieval services being required, primarily this role will be based in remote clinics where the case mix will incorporate generalist, emergency and intubation cases.
Due to the unique nature of the position, you will benefit from a generous salary package, remote location allowance (location dependent) and salary packaging.

The services include remote medical consultations, aeromedical retrievals and primary health care clinics incorporating general practice, child and family health, Indigenous health, mental health, women's health and health promotion.
With this role itself you will work 16 shifts per 4-week roster with each shift lasting 12 hours.

To be successful in this role you must hold AHPRA Specialist registration and Fellowship with ACEM. Alternatively, those registered as a General Practitioner or with FACCRM are also encouraged to apply.
