This hospital is seeking highly experienced and motivated Emergency Medicine specialist’s with strong clinical and leadership skills to join their dynamic ED team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing specialist ED consultation services to patients and sound clinical leadership to registrars and junior medical officers. You will also provide teaching and training to career medical officers, junior medical staff and registrars as part of the newly devised Emergency Medicine Enrichment Programme.
This Regional Trauma centre provides a wide range of accessible healthcare services to a population of about 250,000 residents in the community. The hospital is very involved with the local communities and fosters a working environment with a strong sense of teamwork, integrity, accountability and respect.
With the hospital being split across two campuses, one of the Emergency Departments consists of 20 treatment areas and receives 35,000 presentations annually whilst the other consists of 8 treatment areas and receives 32,000 presentations annually.
Made up of two cities which serve as a base for a larger regional population, you will join a bustling community based along the Murray River. To be successful, you must have fellowship with ACEM and current Specialist registration with AHPRA. New FACEMS are encouraged to apply as it is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience. At this stage International Medical Graduates cannot be considered.
