The Position
This hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Specialist to join their experienced and supportive ED team consisting of another FACEM, 2 RMOs, the Clinical Director as well as experienced nurses. In this role you will oversee all aspects of safe, evidence-based, efficient, patient-centred medical care within the department. You will contribute to human resource management, policy formulation and implementation and also work with the medical and nursing teams to develop new ED care processes.

The hospital has 78 beds, a 20-bed private hospital, 12-day surgery chairs and four operating theatres. The department has 20,000 presentations annually and has links to a retrieval service, with major trauma referred back to Adelaide.

Essential Criteria
To be successful, you must have fellowship with ACEM and current Specialist registration with AHPRA. New FACEMs are encouraged to apply.
