The Position
As an Emergency Medicine Specialist, you will provide high quality clinical care to all public and private patients who attend the department, including paediatric cases. Joining this growing department on a full-time or part-time basis with no obligation for weekend work. You will find yourself welcomed by a positive culture and community feel in a department that values team work and social activities. With associations with the local University there is also the opportunity to pursue teaching and education interests.

The Hospital
This established and well-staffed hospital contributes to a larger healthcare service, providing medical, nursing, mental health, allied health and community care to the 110,000 people in the area. The Emergency Department itself see’s 26,000 presentations per annum with a 25% admission rate and a 25% paediatric case load. It is also a department accredited for 12 months advanced training with ACEM.

The Location

Essential Criteria
As a FACEM with specialist AHPRA registration you will have clinical experience in hospital emergency medicine within the last two years. At this stage overseas applicants cannot be supported.
