== The Position == In this role, you will join an enthusiastic team of ED specialists and nurses who have a great leader and work with a wide variety of adult and paediatric clinical presentations. The team consists of 8 ED specialists and 12 junior doctors including Emergency Medicine trainees who work 10-hour shifts and one weekend a month. The ED Physicians in this department have the work and life balance right. The Hospital This District Health Board has two hospitals, caring for a population of 104,000 and is in one of the most spectacular regions in the country. The Emergency Department has around 35,000 admissions per year. The two hospitals underwent a rebuild in 2013 which updated the ward and theatre areas and provided state of the art ambulatory outpatient area for gynaecology to facilitate outpatient hysteroscopy and colposcopy. == The Location == Whether you are at work or at home, you will be surrounded by and have views of stunning scenery, lakes and mountains in every direction.
