As an Emergency Medicine Registrar joining this busy and efficient Emergency Department, you will be expected to participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to all patients and their families. Working under the supervision and direction of senior staff, you will assist with the management and review of patients admitted to the short stay unit whilst also participating in the resuscitation and acute management of acutely unwell patients. Daily tasks will include arranging investigations, surgical treatment, medical treatment and completing discharge summaries in a timely manner. Regular review of all patients will be carried out and relevant clinical information documented and reported to the Consultant staff on the unit. During nightshifts you will manage the department as the most senior doctor available.
This position can be accredited with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine.

To be successful in applying for this position you should be committed to developing and progressing your knowledge and experience in Emergency Medicine. You must also hold current registration with AHPRA and be available to start as soon as possible.
