== The Position == As an Emergency Medicine Principle house officer with at least 4 years of post-graduate experience, you will join a health service where you can obtain real hands on experience. With the ability to provide high quality and efficient clinical care to patients, you will find yourself supported by the Director, the Staff Specialists and Senior Medical Staff. In turn, you will provide support to junior staff and students within the department, as you help to initiate, maintain and manage patient care. The Hospital This 70 bed hospital is serving a growing population leading to an increase in workforce and new infrastructure. The hospital provides a range of clinical services, including general medicine, surgery, maternity, paediatrics, emergency services, outpatients, medical imaging, pathology and pharmacy. This position supports the Emergency Department and inpatient units providing anaesthetic and obstetric services as well as General inpatient services. == The Location == With a sub-tropical climate offering year round sunshine, this premier port city is located 550 kilometres from Brisbane, on the inlet of the Coral Sea.
