Thrive in the daily diversity and challenges an working in an Mental Health Observation Area. Based beside the Emergency Department of a Perth based Private Hospital, you will be working in a 10 bed unit that sees psychiatric presentations to the ED.
You will head a multidisciplinary team (registrars, RMO/Intern, nursing staff, social work, substance abuse in-reach service) involved in assessment, crisis intervention and disposition of presentations.
Hours of work are from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday.

It consists of 265 public beds and 70 private beds, and is the largest hospital in northern Perth. Hospital facilities include a specialist medical centre and an independently operated community health centre on site. It provides 24-hour emergency and critical care capabilities with trauma, intensive care and coronary care facilities.
For patients requiring inpatient admission, our 47-bed mental health facility provides acute inpatient care for public patients in a comfortable environment. In addition, the ante natal clinic and obstetric service offers screening and psychiatric support to expectant and new mothers.
