You will be the sole dual trained doctor at the practice; supported by a Clinic Manager and a team of technicians, comprising of Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Customer Service Staff/Receptionists on-site and tele-support from other Radiologists within the group.
The role will include a mix of general diagnostic and PET cases. You will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical leadership of the practice.
Planned to open in 2018, this practice will initially offer PET - CT, X-ray and Ultrasound, with CT and MRI possibilities in the future.
The city is less than a 2 hour flight from the major cities of the east coast of Australia. Renowned for history and art there is a full, variety of attractions on offer including an extensive choice of sporting activities. The real estate median price is lower than Sydney, with a range of housing to suit all tastes. Education is well catered for with many state and private schooling options and tertiary institutions.
To be successful in applying for this position you must hold specialist qualifications in both radiology and nuclear medicine and be eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
