== The Position == This full-time role provides strategic, operational and professional leadership to the health service. Key responsibilities will include leadership of medical clinical governance including patient safety and quality improvement and the management of all clinical staff and services. You will work collaboratively within an executive team to develop services and staff within the health service to ensure the provision of high quality, safe medical services which meet the needs of the region. This role offers you the opportunity to gain a wide breadth and depth of knowledge in a large regional health service. The Hospital This hospital is a 180-bed facility and is the largest of the 4 base facilities in the Area Health Service. The facility provides a range of general, surgical and specialist services. Annually the hospital treats more than 27,000 patients in the Emergency Department, performs over 6,000 operations, delivers more than 900 babies and performs 65,000 outpatient services.   == The Location == Ideal for families, this town boasts an attractive, modern CBD with a vibrant busy centre.
