== The Position == As the Director of Emergency Medicine Training, you will join a dynamic and busy Emergency Department within a regional health service. You will be responsible for Emergency Medicine Trainees and ensure appropriate programs are in place. You will be well supported by a cohesive team of Consultants, Registrars, juniors and by a highly trained and committed nursing team. You will liaise with all staff to ensure the provision of high quality emergency services and provide your expertise with regards to continuous improvement as well as supervising, assessing and mentoring medical staff.    The Hospital This 300-bed public hospital provides acute care facilities for the region, treating over 20,000 inpatients and over 200,000 outpatients every year. The Emergency Department itself sees 45,000 presentations annually and a case mix including major trauma and 20% paediatrics. You will ensure the department runs to the highest of standards and that the clinical care of patients is supported via planning, supervising and arranging appropriate clinical investigations all within a timely manner.   == The Location == You will be based in a popular city where you will enjoy a relaxed and enviable lifestyle.
