== The Position == This health service is seeking a Director of Emergency Medicine Training to join their dedicated and supportive team. You will be responsible for all trainees at your training site and will ensure an appropriate institution-based training program is in place. You will be the contact person for Emergency Medicine trainees and provide information on training programs, examination regulations and opportunities for international rotations within the institution. You will provide high quality services, exposed to an interesting and diverse case mix. You will work 9 shifts per fortnight (3 non-clinical), work a maximum of 1 in 3 weekends and have no on-call requirement.  The Hospital  With a catchment population of approximately 80,000 this large regional hospital has 140+ beds and a modern, 24-hour Emergency Department which sees 35,000 presentations annually with an 18% admission rate and 20% paediatric case load. With a new Emergency Department, you will find yourself among a fully equipped service ready to deal with all presentations, with 24 beds and a 6-bed Short Stay Unit, 2 resus bays, a fast track bay, and electronic patients records. == The Location == Supplying most of the nation?s grapes for wine production, this popular horticultural destination is located in the North West of Victoria.
