== The Position == Joining the team as Emergency Medicine Director, you will have the energy, enthusiasm and drive to lead a multidisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to utilise previous leadership skills, or develop news skills as you help the department go from strength to strength as the health service as a whole experiences growth. It is an exciting time to make a real difference and you will lead by positive example and assist in the delivery of high quality clinical care. You will also assist in the teaching of medical students and other staff of the hospital. The Hospital This 64 bed acute care hospital offers services across general medicine, general surgery, paediatrics and emergency care to name but a few. As a health service undergoing change and expansion, the Emergency department itself is set to develop, along with its workforce and clinical networks. With an average of 24,000 patients being seen annually, it offers services to the local and wider community. == The Location == This area boasts natural beauty, abundant wildlife, cultural diversity and a temperate climate. With regular flights and excellent road connections to Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne you can easily reach a metropolitan area within 2 hours.  == Essential Criteria == To be eligible for this role you must have Specialist registration with AHPRA and hold fellowship with the Australian College of Emergency Medicine. You must have at least 5 years postgraduate experience but do not need prior Director experience.
