== The Position == An opportunity is available for a Dermatologist who is ready for a challenging role that will demand outstanding professional skills, commitment to the specialty and a vision of providing team based service.  The team provides predominantly medical dermatology care to a population of 350,000 and offers both a physical outreach clinic and teledermatology service. In this role, you will need to supervise and mentor advanced trainees, dermatology nurses and medical students. The Hospital This modern regional hospital has over 600 beds and provides local services for a population of 360,000 and tertiary services for a region of 860,000. The centre is accredited by the RACP as a level 3 hospital. The hospital has an academic division of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, University of Auckland on site, along with a well-equipped clinical school which acts as a teaching and training centre for undergraduates and postgraduate medical and allied health science students.   This hospital is a full-service facility offering specialised medical care, and the full complement of emergency services. The hospital is the main trauma facility for the area, and close connection to road and air transport allow patient-hospital transport in less than an hour from any place in the region.   The hospital has extensive programmes new staff orientation, professional development, clinical training and education and offers opportunities such as secondment to projects and working in regional collaboration teams.
