As consultant psychiatrist, you will be responsible for allocated patients and work with a multidisciplinary team that encompasses Registrars, Resident Medical Officers (RMO), Nurses, Social Workers, Psychologists and Occupational Therapists.
You will ensure that clinical services for patients and service users are delivered to the highest professional and ethical standards, across Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service (ATODS), Consultation Liaison (CL) and Specialty Mental Health Services (MHS), focussing primarily on the services provided by the ATODS.
You will provide expert clinical care across specifically to the Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Service (CAYAS) within the Adolescent Forensic Mental Health Service and the Young Peoples Early Intervention Team.
You will work for a health service that provides a range of mental health services to meet the tertiary mental health needs of people living in North Queensland. The health service offers a supportive environment for employees in a progressive workplace.
