As part of an innovative service with a strong research focus and funds, you have a rare opportunity to join an expert team of first class professionals. With a strong support network, you will be responsible for providing a clinical service to a number of facilities and services in the continuum of acuity from hospital based services to community based services within the area based service.
You will contribute to teaching/training at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and will participate in research. You will be required to work collaboratively with team leaders and other senior health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting to ensure that the Directorate delivers effective and efficient quality mental health services.

|UK/Ireland||Must hold MRCPsych / FRCPsych plus UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and have been practicing as a Consultant for 3 years or more|
|USA||Must hold Certificate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and have been practicing as a Consultant for 3 years or more.|
|Canada||Must hold Fellowship in Psychiatry or Certificate in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and have been practicing as a Consultant for 3 years or more.|
Other qualifications can of course be assessed on a case-by-case basis. For those unable to work at Consultant level, there are multiple opportunities to take advantage of at Senior Medical Officer and Registrar level.
