The Opportunity  As part of an innovative service with a strong research focus and funds, on offer is a rare opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join an expert team of first class professionals. With a strong support network, you will be responsible for the provision of clinical leadership and supervision to the Consultation-Liaison registrars/medical officers and other clinicians/staff.   With the challenge of developing services, you will plan and implement a clear strategy for the development of the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Service. Drawing on your expertise and working collaboratively and efficiently with multidisciplinary staff, you will ensure the optimum mental health care of consumers. Furthermore, this role presents the opportunity to initiate and participate in research to contribute to advances in knowledge in the specialty.    The Hospital Opening as a small country hospital in 1959, the hospital is today the premier hospital of the northern metropolitan area and it is currently undergoing a major hospital expansion.
