The Location
Bunbury is a coastal city only 1.5 hours’ drive from the centre of Perth, the State’s capital and economic centre of Australia’s recent mining boom; it is a business hub and the heart of regional development, meaning that every desirable amenity is right on your very doorstep.  However, despite its cool, cosmopolitan exterior, you will find that it has still managed to maintain a relaxed seaside vibe, boasting some of the most lush, beautiful landscapes in the region. Here you really can experience all the major benefits of city living and enjoy them in a peaceful, country location.

Many of the attractions are nature-based, due to the picturesque sheltered bays, sandy beaches and shallow reefs. Spend your spare time fishing, swimming, surfing, windsurfing or snorkelling in the beautiful clear blue water, or take a trip to see wild dolphins in their natural habitat and witness one of nature’s most beautiful creatures.

If you prefer to stay on dry land then just a short half an hour drive takes you to Western Australia’s premiere wine region, where you can go to relax in the wineries and experience some of the famous, local produce. Or, why not drive a bit further south and explore the majestic forest, known too as the “Valley of the Giants”, and marvel at some of Australia’s oldest and most magnificent trees.

As a major regional centre, the city is well served with educational facilities, including a variety of public and private options, TAFE and a university campus, and you will also find house prices much lower than the larger, metropolitan areas, making it an ideal choice if you are wishing to relocate with your family and enjoy a comfortable lifestyle.

If you have ever dreamed of living beside the seaside but with all the benefits of urban living then this is the place for you!
