== The Position == You will be the Clinical Lead for a multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service team, providing clinical services across the whole region, and part of a group of 17 doctors working within the Mental Health Service. You will be working closely with the Team Manager, and responsible for the specialist management of child and adolescent patients residing in the South West. This role will enable you to have the opportunity to develop teaching and research interests, as well as the ability to attend continuing medical education, through weekly local consultant peer group meetings. The Hospital Here, you will be working in the biggest hospital and health care complex in regional Western Australia. The campus is combined of a public and private sector. It provides all major medical specialties including general and respiratory medicine; general, orthopaedic, urological, otolaryngological and hand surgery; paediatrics; obstetrics/gynaecology; radiology; ophthalmology and psychiatry. In addition, there are on-site services for oncology; dialysis and palliative care. The Mental Health service includes an authorised inpatient unit, Community health teams covering the region, a regional Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Community service, a developing Youth Mental Health Service, an Older Adult Mental Health Service and an Aboriginal Mental Health Service. The Service also has close links with the regional Addictions service. The inpatient unit is part of the district mental health service and incorporates general adult, old age and CAMHS services. The unit has 27 beds, 6 of which are secure beds.
