In this role you will provide specialist Child & Adolescent Psychiatry services and clinical leadership in the delivery of community child and adolescent mental health services in Northern New South Wales.
You will demonstrate the ability to provide clinical leadership in community multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to liaise effectively with other health professionals and agencies.
You will be required to hold a current unrestricted NSW Class C Drivers Licence or equivalent.
An eight bed Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Unit provides specialist inpatient treatment and care to children and young people from across the region.
Youth and Family Mental Health Workers are part of Community Mental Health Services from Grafton to Tweed Heads and they provide mental health services to adolescents, aged 12 to 18 years, who are experiencing mental health problems.
Located between the rainforest and the sea in the Northern Rivers of NSW, about 40 km inland from Byron Bay and 200km from Brisbane, the town has a population of approximately 30,000 inhabitants.

To be successful in applying for this position you must hold FRANZCP or be close to obtaining fellowship and be eligible for General Specialist registration with AHPRA.
