The Opportunity As a Consultant Psychiatrist you will manage your own Old Age case load, in association with training junior medical staff, who will assist you in the assessment, treatment and education of your patients and their families. You will ensure that clinical services for patients and service users are delivered to the highest professional and ethical standards, across the General Adult psychiatric service.   The Hospital The mental health department has 22 inpatient beds, not including the high dependency unit which has 6 beds and is a secure unit.   The health service provides psychiatric services across Child and Adolescent; Adult Community; Inpatient and Extended Treatment; and Older Person.
